An Eye-opener
In one word "EyeOpener" addressing some serious issue which we never found important in our daily lives, it needs to be addressed by all of us which is perfectly done by director Anubhav Sinha. The storyline revolves around the pathetic thinking of our unseen India, the difference between Dalit & Brahmins, their ideologies and all things are relatable. We, living in big cities, educated people didn't found such things nowadays but in rural India, there is still some flesh remaining & this should be cleaned up or else it'll demolish the whole society and worsen the lives of lower caste people.
The whole incident is to remind lower caste people of their "Aukaat", for arguing with Upper caste people. They treat them like a mute servant with no respect & rights.
The story shows the realist world of Indian society. The dark, scary side which is still alive in some rural areas.
The film is so dark & scary sometimes with the background scores of Mangesh Dhakde & the cinematography by Ewan Mulligan. They brilliantly managed to capture the darkness of their ideology and portray it in cinema very well.
The storyline is really good with lots of moments to light up the film. However, it also displays the magnitude of cruelty, of how it can get worse for some people.
The acting surpasses everything. Everyone I mean EVERYONE seems so intense & natural in the whole film. Ayushmaan has become our favorite, by doing such diverse genres, for the entire year now. The whole cast - Sayani Gupta, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Kumund Mishra, Manoj Pahwa are brilliant.
The film is thought to provoke and shows how justice is served to the specific community in our society. The CBI is also influenced by the politicians and the whole game was of Vote Bank.
This should be addressed & we should accept the so-called "DALITS" as the part of the society with equal rights. This film is Must Watch !!
